Our Trekka logo is called a “Wordmark” and they are perfect for guides and outdoor brands! A wordmark is a type of logo that only contains the name of a company or organization with text, without any other graphical elements. project process
follows 5 easy steps.

Introduction & Proposal
A video or voice call will be scheduled to discuss your project needs. After all goals are established, a proposal will be sent to you. Once finalized you will sign and send a 50% deposit to start the project!

Project Brief
To design your site in a way that reaches your target audience, you'll fill out a project brief that covers the following areas: business summary, background, target audience, goals of the website, sitemap, design style and specifications.

Content Creation
A copywriter will provide us with all the text needed for every page of your website. Either you will have your own copywriter or we can provide one. We will also help gather all your photos and create new graphics where needed.

Website Design
Using the Project Brief as a guide, we'll design a mockup that fits your brand and will be attractive to your target audience.

Website Buildout
Once the content and design is ready, the next steps go a lot faster. It will take 1-2 weeks to build out the site using the content created. We also go through the entire site to make sure all SEO steps have been taken to ensure the best search ranking possible. If this is a brand new domain, we'll give you recommendations for next steps.
Designing since the 90’s...
Hi! I’m Sarah Hokuf, the Creative Director and Founder of Trekka Design Co.
I began my career in Advertising in the late 90’s during the dotcom bubble! After a trip to Europe in 2004, I decided to start my own digital design agency, Evolve Creative, and a decade later was building hundreds of websites with my team! I was approached to sell the successful company and did so on 1-1-2020. I stayed on for 4 years until I left to work at AirCorps Aviation, which my husband owns. I really missed working with clients and building websites, so I brainstormed for several months until I felt this calling to start Trekka Design. And here we are!
I’m a wife, mom, Christian, designer, tech guru, and an entrepreneur with over 20 years of business experience. I LOVE the outdoors, which means I’m in the perfect spot living in a log house in the woods of northern Minnesota, on a lake. I fit in outside time every day to walk my goldendoodle, go biking, or find some peace by the lake.
